Chair covering working bee
On Sunday the 3rd July members attended a working bee to re-cover thirty of the club chairs. Starting with the smallest and oldest chairs we removed the old orange vinyl to make way for the 'Marina' blue. The frames were sprayed black and the back frames were glued back together. More chairs will be done until we have recovered all of the 130 chairs. The results are good already with the new chairs looking very smart. Thanks to all who attended and worked hard to gert all those staples out and all that fabric cut and stapled onto the chairs and to those out in the spray booth painting the frames. It was a good happy productive working bee.
